Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

As we scale our operations, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities

Support Process Development, Validation and Scaling:

  • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes and specifications.

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement manufacturing training and support Product Builder training on processes & Work Instructions.

  • Production line set-ups, equipment operation and maintenance, including preventative maintenance.

  • Use structured problems solving to drive yield improvements and product manufacturability.

  • Generate, update and maintain technical documentation in accordance with Quality System requirements.

  • Assist with design verification builds and testing.

  • Support process validation execution and testing.


Equipment Optimisation and maintenance:

  • Support equipment and tooling design procurement, installation and validation.

  • Assist with scheduling of preventative maintenance and calibration.

  • Promote GDP adherence.

  • Maintain equipment, work areas and facilities to ensure a clean and safe work environment and compliance to GMP.

  • Carry out other tasks as requested.


Customer collaboration:

Work closely with customers to diagnose manufacturing issues, develop robust solutions, and secure timely approval for process improvements.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in engineering or a closely related discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 years working as a Technician in medical devices.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel etc.


Desirable

  • Experience and skill in catheter shaft technology including braiding, coiling, laser cut steel, reflow, lamination, welding, and general catheter assembly.

  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks is desirable.

  • Previous customer interaction experience is an advantage.
